Fallen Memory Entry: The Brawler

Everyone has a family who has a quirk unique to them, but for Chloe Frost, her family’s quirk are their obsession with wrestling. Not only that, but her parents are the famous Frost King and Frost Queen, otherwise known as the Frost Couple, within the International Wrestling Corporation, or the IWC. Because of her parent’s reputation, Chloe often felt that their success have overshadowed her attempt to have an otherwise normal childhood. Makings matters worst is that she happens to be shy, skinny and wears glasses, traits not associated to one whose parents are wrestlers. As a result, Chloe found herself getting picked on for being such a “weakling” who doesn’t have what it takes to survive, much to her dismay.

But Chloe’s life would forever change when the Federation suddenly occupied Elmore, renaming the town as New Elmore, after two years of war. From there, the Federation began to police and oppress those who would resist their authority, but those that do were jailed, executed or simply “disappeared” and be never heard of again. Chloe, along with her parents, soon joined the Resistance during its early years of formation, initially focusing on sabotaging radio signals, stealing supplies and tagging buildings. But one day, Chloe’s parents, along with a few Resistance members, took a dangerous task after an anonymous message informed them of a shipment of innocent civilians being transported to an unknown location. Before they left, Chloe’s parents told her that everything will be alright and that they both love her. But it would be the last time she would see them alive; after a few days of silence, Chloe urged another member to help her locate her parents, who reluctantly agreed and went to their last known whereabouts. Upon their arrival, though, they are met with a grave sight…bodies were laid all over the ground, riddled with lasers and bullets alike, but the worst part were the bloodstained masks of the Frost Couple. Chloe knew they would never removed them under any circumstances and the fact that they discarded was an indication that they were dead.

Devastated by her loss, Chloe vowed to never loose anyone close to her again and vigorously trained with the Resistance for the remainder of her young life. Slowly, but surely, Chloe built herself up physically, with the sole mind of taking down the Federation as her sole motivation. By the time she reached sixteen, she became one of the largest and muscular member of the Resistance. This was the moment that she had been waiting for and she had been looking forward to it for a very long time. With her training complete, Chloe took the first step to stop the Federation with her fellow Resistance members, making good with her vows to take down the Authoritarian government…or die trying.
